Daily Tour Recap: Howie Mandel, Pennywise and more

Influential rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z recently announced that he will be having a concert in Washington, D.C. on January 19 to celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama. The concert will take place at the Warner Theatre, a venue that seats less than 2,000 people. Ticket prices for the concert will range from $375 to $500. After Obama was elected president this past November, Jay-Z wrote the “History” to commemorate the landmark election.

Continuing to tour in support of her second studio album, “On a Clear Night,” up-and-coming singer Missy Higgins will embark on a 24-city trek across the U.S. which is scheduled to begin February 19 at the House of Blues in Houston. Along the way she will welcome guest appearance from fellow rising stars Justin Nozuka and Lenka. Her tour will wrap up on March 23 at The Fillmore in San Francisco.
